ANGELES CITY – The local government here led by the Angeles City AIDS Council joins the world in commemorating the 30th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (ACM) at the SM City Clark Event Center on Wednesday.

ANGELES CITY – Local government officials and employees here started the week yesterday through the launch of the city’s National Flag Awareness Campaign.
It signaled the city’s 15-day countdown to the 115th Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 12.
A brief commemorative program hosted by the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO) coincided Monday’s flag raising rites at the city hall grounds with performances from the Angeles City Rondalla and the Sinukwan Performing Arts.
Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan enjoined all Angeleños to display the Philippine flag on their homes, businesses and government establishments, schools and other places in commemoration of the date when the flag was first unrolled after the Philippine Revolutionary Army overcame the Spanish conquerors in the Battle of Alapan in Cavite in 1898.Read More >>>

ANGELES CITY – A week after the elections, local officials here, together with the academe and several organizations from the different sectors of society, troop back together in the city’s schools to help in their clean-up for the opening of classes in June.
